Leather Care Help

SACS Repackaging, Derbyshire, UK.

Most leather is "protected" leather (80% of leather sales). This means a protective, coloured layer is applied to the surface. Other types of leather are Aniline (A clear surface coating), Nubuck (The surface looks like fine velvet) and waxy or oily leather.

General cleaning and care of your leather can be achieved with our Care Kits.
For more difficult stains, such as fats, denim dye, tea, coffee etc. you will require a stronger leather cleaner. (Sold separately) We also have specialised products for ink, grease and odour removal.

When cleaning leather, add the leather cleaner into a soft sponge. Squeeze the sponge from side to side and this will generate foam. Apply the foam to the area of soiling, rub lightly with the sponge in a circular motion. The foam will remove the soiling and the "dirty" foam can be removed by kitchen towel. After cleaning, dry the area with a hair drier (from at least 12" away) and apply Leather Protection Cream. Our Care Kits contain instructions and if you purchase individual products, instruction's on how to use are clearly printed on the packaging.

By checking our Leather products, you will find individual products for solving specific problems such as grease, ball point pen, bad odours etc.

We realise that the care of leather can be daunting, so if you are in any way concerned, please contact us for free and impartial advice.
